The Foundation was incorporated in 2008. The Foundation's mission emerged from the experiences of the McDevitt family over the years. Each of the Trustees has individually supported various charities that enabled young people to maximize their potential. Forming a foundation was suggested to unite and strengthen these efforts. Trustees support the Foundation's mission with donations of time, talent and treasure. No one is compensated for their efforts.
The family realizes that there are needy children all over the world as well as in their own backyards.
