Currently 85 St. Francis de Sales students are enrolled in an after school pilot program of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra called "Tune Up Philly." The roots of this program originated in the barrios of Venezuela about 35 years ago. Designed specifically to teach inner city children, the de Sales site will eventually be replicated in other schools in Philadelphia.
