"110 students are enrolled in Play On, Philly, the after school music program of St. Francis De Sales school. Directed by Curtis Music School graduate, Stanford Thompson, the program is modeled on El Sistema, a program designed to educate students in barrios of Venezuela. The year round program includes visits from guest conductors, appearances at local concert halls and summer field trips."
